If a monitor contains a easy din cable connector and 1 composite cable are these two things linked together. I know the composite cable is your normal yellow video plug. But I am confused by the din cable connector.

 

usually the DIN cable part is close to the monitor and at the other end would be the video cable, audio cables (if equipped), and power/ground wires.
