The glass cover on the speedometer had some smudges on it so i removed it....thinking it was just dirty on the inside....but it wasnt it was on the outside of it i tried cleaning it. but no help just made it worse....tried glass cleaner...alcohol....goo gone....nothing...
Has This Happend to any1 and if so how to fix it?

 

It could be from using a cleaner with an abrasive or one that wasn't made to be used on that sort of material. I've seen it happen before, in which case you may need to replace it entirely.

As a last resort I'd try that Orange Clean stuff or the Oxy Clean stuff from the infomercials. You should be able to find them in the supermarket. If they don't do the trick, then you may indeed need to replace it.

 

kinda had the same problem with my old bop xB. what had happened was armor all got on the glass and was there perm. I had to order a new glass piece from toyota becuase it would not come off at all. only glass cleaner can be applied to the glass. if you get anything else on it, its pretty much gonna stay on there.
