Dying pillars, visors, headliner?

spray works well, i recommend Duplicolor my self aswell but i would use the exterior autobody lines as they are much stronger and wont chip easy.
i've been working on my panels for a while now. first time around i used duplicolor's interior stuff, it's doing nothing but comming right off so i've started with the exterior stuff i used for my griil, spoiler and hatch handle cover and it's not going anywhere.
i just did my headliner, infact it's still drying. i used 4 cans on flat black on it to harden the faberic and then used a sponge with some house-hold semi-gloss paint. it "looks" like it's been rewrapped but it hasn't. takes one full quart of paint if you want to take this idea up and you better expect not to have a head liner for about 5-6 days during painting and drying sessions.
a tip for the seat belt bracets, piece them apart and spray the outside shell parts just anything else. when it comes to the metal piece with the small non-removeable plastive piece. pull your seatbelts completely out *requires removel of your side panels* and pull the belt all the way out of the belt housing. then use a pair of vice plyers and vice the belt fully stretched out. then just near the end of the belt, start spraying away are your clip piece *please tape off the metal...* that way the parts of the belt that have paint will NEVER be seen by anyone and will always be ravelled up.

thats a difference between 20-40 bucks to just paint it the way you want OR several hundread bucks for a rewrap that ultimatly will end up looking like crap 10 years from the time you have it done while the painted job stays just as healthy. all you gota do s deal with an obnoxious smell for a week or two and all is good.

the smell has gone away already, and it still looks sweet with the black headliner. One word of warning though, if you have any scratches on your headliner, painting it will make them really apparent. mine was scratched in a way that kinda makes it look like suede, untill you touch it and realize that it's just fabric.

lol no way, I might as well tar and feather it , I remember someone saying the parts were expensive and that looks easy to mess up, I'm gunna go for a type of wrap or the duplicolor, i'll post pics when i get to doing it.
