there isn't such a thing as "line level input"....some amps will have speaker level inputs (AKA high level inputs) which eliminate the need for a line level converter.....a line level converter takes the signal traveling through speaker wire and will transform it into an RCA signal.......this being for amps with no high level inputs and head units with no RCA outputs.......
