i like the head rest monitors...
no cutting up the headliner....

flipdowns also block the view out the rear view mirror

I got a 15.3inch flip down. I dont need to look in the rear view mirror. I keep my eyes on the 7inch infront. HaHA J/K i keep my eyes on the road!

I'm planning on two flip downs, one over each seat. This way I can still fold my seats flat, since headrest monitors would make removing the headrest just slightly more difficult

I like headrests for a couple of reasons.

1. You can replace the headrests easily if you go to sell the car and use the monitors in your next vehicle.

2. I like the fact that the monitor is right in front of you. It's easier to view and you don't get a cramp in your neck. Atleast that's my daughters input.

3. No blocking the rear view mirror.

4. Easier install. Real easy if you get ones pre-set in headrests,

I thought you were talking about visor monitors, but I would say headrest monitors if it's for the back

can you even see the 9"???

j/k

i am tall, so even a 9" would block my vision...if you're short the angle of the mirror would/could miss the monitor...

i had a 15.4 flipdown...it touched both headrests (really missed by 1/2 inch). so that was like having a bilboard inside the car...

I hadn't really considered either, but when I am ready for mobile video I think I like the idea of two flips, if it's been done can somebody post some pics
