thanks...
the headrests are from myron davis....(it comes already mounted in the new headrests...my stock ones are still intact)
monitors are very bright, and have a wide view angle...(helps for the hump rider...)
the rear set is just for show...don't need them, but the traffic behind me gets a free show....

someone's gotta add'em to the back of the front seats
like airplane tray tables, covered back side for use or flip it over and latch it back to the seat at a slight angle
comfy viewing angle, stealthy when stowed, ablility to run a larger monitor than a dinky headrest will allow
i am just way too lazy to build this, but it sounds neat
i would buy it if someone built it.....

i think the screens would end up too low...you would end up staring at your knees to watch the screen...
thats not a comfortable viewing angle...2-5 inches down from eye-level has been shown to be the most comfortable angle...
but it would still be a cool show....

the screen in my pic above is a 15.4 wide...
now keep in mind there is a support structure thats another inch or two around....
now picture that screen in the seat back in the picture...
start at the top of the seat...come down 5-6 inches for the headrest posts to clear...
now add the 1-2 inch frame of the screen...and you now can see where the monitor will be...
down at your ankles...
smaller screens will bring the viewing angle up to a more comfortable level...

ok ok
it sounded better in my head
there had to be a solution though
headrest monitors are too small, personally speaking
and flip-downs are so bulky and NOT hide-able
wait, why do i care what happens back there
I know, I'll get my old friend Ghetto Bob to put one in my steering wheel
GO GO IMAX!!!!!
