Default Floor Mat Hooks

My floor mats have holes in them and so does the floor. I know they can't just be there for looks, so I was wondering it there are hooks to hold the mats in place. I have taken up my carpet before and didn't see anything, but there are two holes that match to the floor mats.

Yes there are little specially shaped hooks to hold the optional floormats in place. Should have come in a little plastic bag attached right to the mats when you got 'em (or if dealer 'installed' the mats, the hooks should have been placed).

If you have factory floormats from the dealer, they should have came with hooks. If you don't have them, I would go to the dealer and tell them to get you some, since they should have came with your floormats. I ordered mine online and they came with hooks.

Well I didn't buy my car new it was used from the dodge dealer, so the person who owned it before me must of thrown them out. Do you think I would have to pay for those hooks.
I just see the dealer asking $1000 for them.

One would THINK, since they are plastic, small, breakable, losable, and common in many Toyotas, that the parts guy would have a large box of 'em in the back room to grab a handful out of... :D

Then again, maybe not.

If you haven't gotten any from a dealer yet, PM me your snail mail address, and I'll send you 4 I have left over from the last time I bought all-weather mats for my last Toyota.

I lost one a week or so ago, and went to the dealer to see about a replacement. Parts guy said they cost $1.03 each. They're listed in their Toyota Parts book, and nowhere in the Scion one.

My rugs are aftermarket. They have the holes for the clips, but I had no clips. I just bought them from the Toyota dealer. Part # 00208-00801, "Clip, Carpet" $2.47 net to me, each clip.
