Default Gameboy SP-GPS!!!

I preordered mine. I know the design is not too hot. But, I've seen it in action at this years e3. And I can tell you with confidence that it's awesome!!!

I was thinking about connecting small PC/laptop to my car for the entertainment/GPS purpose. But, the loading time and shutting off time was too bothersome to deal with. I think I am going to wait until one of the companies will come up with OS for in car usage. Rumor is that both Apple and Microsoft are working on one. I will put my money on Apple's OS...

Anyways, here is the link to the company website.

It works with GBA and... Gasp!!! DS!!!

And they said they MIGHT work on the PSP unit also... SWEET!!!

I personally want Sony to come up with a stereo that doubles as a station for PSP to use it as GPS monitor... I am gonna try to design it and build it in 3D... I'll share it with you guys if I ever get around it...

How long did sony push the PSP back for? That's sick. Then you can have your GPS in your car AND play video games. Now they just need to make a DVD player for it.

Ur... PSP already plays movies using the UMD media...

It also functions as MP3 player...

It just needs a docking station and connection to GPS unit in the car!!!

Does anyone know if this GPS unit has a turn-by-turn capabilities like the other GPS units that are out there? Or is it a general type GPS unit? :?:

Thank you for your interest in our product. The first release will not have turn-by-turn capability but just the basic GPS and mapping features. We are planning to add navigation capability in a future release.

Do you have to pay for the GPS to actually work or is this something that just works with the purchase of the Pioneer? Sounds cool!
