Precision cut, shipped fast, labeled for easy application. Works great! Didn't even need the sticky squares.

Would like to see the set add pieces for the interior door handles and the front wall of the glove compartment.

As I posted a few posts earlier in this thread, if you order directly from Wilson, (pilotpads@msn.com) rather than throug eBay, he'll include door handle pads, (and an OEM armrest cupholder pad if you rewuest it) at no additional charge.

Default Get these pads!

I too bought these pads through ebay. Not only did they arrive very fast and professionally packaged, but Wilson Wong takes his business personally....emailing me within a few days of the pads' arrival to ensure that I was satisfied.

Great product and fast service. Professional, custom fit. No need forthe stick on tape, stays put just fine. I like being able to put my cell phone next to the wheel and not have it slide.

So after I received Wilson's 21 piece set, I asked for an additional piece... and after I traced out a paper stencil and sent it to him... this is what I got:

Picture One

and for a better angle

Picture Two

Top notch service!! And quick too!

PS. I know I should post the pics in the message but I can't seem to get it to work right... sorry.

Default Excellent work

I just finished installing these pads (bought from eBay). They look great and grip like the devil. At first, I was unsure of how they would look - as previously mentioned, they are very similar in look/feel as a mousepad. Once installed, they really added to look. Great job on the cuts.

Mine have been in long enough that I just take it for granted that things will just stay where I put them in the cubbies, but I was just reminded of them the other day while on a trip.

A young lady with much longer nails than mine closed the door from the front passenger seat and 'encountered' the Wilson Wong pads inside the door close wells and made a surprised comment about how neat it was to 'hit bottom' and find it was padded.

She said she wished HER car had something like that.

Odd how sometimes it is the really little things that impress people.

Oh, yeah, on several long trips, now, it has been just great to be able to just toss things into the cubbies and depend on them staying in place.

<=== Happy customer. Thanks, Wilson!

Wilson,

I dont suppose the pads can be made any thinner can they? From the looks of it, the look a TAD too thick for my taste. Does anyone see/know what I am talking about? Or do the pics not do it justice? I was searching a while back to do this and was going to cut my own pieces but this is MUCH better... I was just hoping to see them a little thinner.

Also, this is a question for everyone. I think im reading that they come with double sided tape... how well does it stick? I know some tape out there will stick for a little while and then start coming up.

Thanks ahead of time.

(1) The thickness of the ones I got from him are maybe 1/8th inch. The initial pictures I saw seemed thicker, so I was pleasantly surprised.

(2) They do come with very thin, clear, double sided stick patches that so far have held well for a spring and summer. I was surprised how well they stuck to the oddly textured "unborn gila monster hide" dash surfaces.

I'll bet Wilson would send you a sample of each if you sent him a stamped envelope.

I REALLY appreciate the feedback, its good to hear theyre smaller than they look in the pictures. And its good to hear the adhesive holds well. I'd still like to get a reply back from Wilson to see if they can come any smaller. If so, Ill more than likely just buy them rather than trying to get a sample

Do you think Wilson Wong will make any pads for the top of the dash? Does Wilson frequent Scionlife?

I doubt he will be making a dash-top pad, but I have no idea what he would say to giving it a try...

Wilson is a Honda Pilot driver and can be found over at the Pilot site... His ID at hondapilot.org is "wwong"...

He also is a long time seller at eBay:
http://members.ebay.com/ebaymotors/w...serid=padsplus

I don't think he wanders around at ScionLife, so you might want to try one of those other places if you need to get hold of him.
