Mike said they mite get it going but would take a while...he said he would have try and do the refund throught the people who yuo bought it from..try calling Greedy in calf ask for tech support ask for Mike

Well called Greddy again they won't give me a refund direct I have to go through the store I purchased it from..... So looks like I'll never get a refund. They also said the same to me that they know there is an issue but thats as far as it goes for xB owner atleast USDM as on the JDM xB the unit works perfect.

looks like false advertizing...and we get screwed...thier should be some kind of consumer rights,,we can get a hold of to put the squeze on Greedy..as thier proudct was misleading

Your so right 'Plug and Play' ha - works on bB model b ut not xB you think they would have figured that out before selling it on the US market. The best I can do is send back for a replacement and then sell it new on ebay and suffer the loss. Stinks as that money was going towards a Greddy SC......

Unforunately we have not gotten the unit to work on my XB either. I am a Greddy warehouse distributor. My guess is that if you would have bought from an AUTHORIZED GREDDY Dealer you would have not trouble returning it.

well i did buy from authorized dealer www.ptunning.they are listed on greedys dealers list..they say they have a no return on eletrical
Tell you what if I get a customer that wants one Ill contact you.

i hate to ask a stupid question but , where does the informeter plug into?
it says plug and play , where does it plug into?
i dont even know if i should atempt to plug it in with all the responses concerning this item?
if it doesnt work on the box , i wonder if it will work on my accord?

It plugs into the OBD2 diagnostic plug under the driver's side dash. The Informeter DOES WORK, but it must be set to "Honda" mode.
This is not a malfunction of the unit... it was designed to work in Japan on JDM systems, and I guess that the Honda system used in Japan is the same specification as the US OBD2 spec.

Are you sure it works on the xB as I have set it to the Honda settings and nothing, its not just me thats tried it and it doen't work.... which unit are you using the white or the newer black version? I will still class that the unit has a Fault afterall this unit is being sold by Greddy USA and listed on their site as plug and play so it should have the correct firmware to work on the US market if its being sold there.

Well, a ScionLife member (Steve Carson) sent me his unit and I stopped by a local dealer and tried it out on a 2006 xB and 2006 tC. With both cars I got most of the data settings to work on the unit.
I didn't really pay attention to the GReddy unit, I wasn't aware there were different models. I just plugged it in and when I saw that there was data being reported I put it back in the box and shipped it back to him.
GReddy USA really should provide an application list on their page showing which models it works with.

i installed the unit today and on the honda setting it worked!!!!
i thought my wife was going to kill me , i bought the item used on ebay and i was worried that it wouldnt work. thanks to scionlife i escaped death once again

So with the tC you need to set it to honda mode as well? I just got mine in the mail the other day and was going to install it this evening. Did anyone get any english instructions emailed to them from greddy yet?
