Default Ground wire kits...

Ok I've seen a few ground wire kits floating around ebay... question here is, how well do they work? I'm not all that farmilliar with em, and 5-8hp gain from re-grounding a few wires? sounds odd to me, but for the money If they really make the box run better it may be worth investing in... any comments on the JDMs?

I've read an import tuner power pages on the Suzuki Aerio where changing out the ground wires boosted the horsepower.

I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work.

That's were it was. They said 3-4 on the aerio. I guess it depends on how crappy your ground wires are to begin with. I can't imagine them being THAT bad that you'd get more than a couple hp.

I am not an ace with grounding kits, but is there a difference with speaker wires, or power and ground wires for your amps? yeah, how much, who knows.....

I think the $65 ones should be perfect nice compromise of value and quality

search button= the answers you are looking for. and for the HP thing it really does NOT gain HP ,it GIVES the ELECTRONICS in the engine a better source of current THEREFORE unleashes HP that is already there. and yes there is a difference in speaker wire and ground wire, and yes the 65$ ground kit should work just as good as the 100.00 ground kit.

I know I was just joking about the $65 thing. The happys seem to be the best value though.$40 If they'er still available.

yeah the grounding kit is more for us stereo guys because it helps to stop dimming from headlights and allows more current to flow when your drawing a lot of amperage from your amplifiers. but i really dont think it will make that much difference performance wise to your car, maybe as noticeable as having a full tank of gas to having a 1/4 tank of gas, or accelarating with someone else in your car vs. just by yourself
