It really depends on where you want it,If it is for the rear it is easy you can support it from the dome light mount that is what most do.
Now if you want it up front (where mine is between sun visors) it gets to be alot more work. There is nothing to support it,So I removed the visors,Mirror,oh ____ handles and the Front pillar covers and was able to pull it down enough to get measurements to span a piece of 1/2" plywood from side to side resting on the plastic that runs down each side then screwed the mount to that.
Then just fish the wires over to the front pillar cover and down to the TV/DVD player and it is all good.
Hope this helps,Scott

no....you have wiring there for the dome light. you will need a relay because you have a negative trigger for the dome light....if your using a monitor only you can snake a video cable from the b pillar

Nothing actually goes "above" the headliner. I put a 12" monitor where the dome light goes and it was pretty simple. Two sheet metal screws to mount it. MEASURE THE SCREWS AND THE MOUNTING DEPTH!!! OTHERWISE YOU WILL DRILL ALL THE WAY THROUGH AND OUT THE ROOF!!! I couldnt stress that enough. I fished the wires up front to run down the a-pillar and got power and ground from the stereo harness. Not too difficult. I had never done it before when I attempted it and it worked out great.
