Default Hardwire Sirius Sportster 4

So I have been reading the forums and I think this setup will work but I have a few questions. I have a Sirius Sportster 4 that I will place in the "oven" and I want to hardwire it to the AM/SAT button on my 06 xA. If I use the PIE Toy3 Adapter I should just be able to plug it into the head unit and be done. My one question is how do I plug the Sportster into the PIE unit?

Has anyone done this or is there a slicker way of doing this??

it is something that i had thought about for a friends car, but, it might just be easier, and maybe a little cheaper, to get a new headunit with an aux in port, then just run a cable from the line out on the sportster to the aux in.... because i dont believe that your gonna be able to run the sportster through your factory headunit... also dont forget that toyota deals soley with XM.... (even though sirius is way better)
