You could, but what would be the point. You could get much better sound out of a pair of 8"s & a pair of 15" subs. This set up would give you the lows & high of bass. Also weigh a lot less then that sub your talking about, take up less room & be much cheaper.

Our MTX Jackhammer should be released this coming week. It actually does have great SQ since we designed two different cones, one being for SQ with a dual 4 ohm voice coil and the other an SPL cone with a dual 2 ohm voice coil. I'm providing a link below to anyone interested in learning more. The Jackhammer was not produced to be sold in local Circuit City stores. It was designed for those people that have the money and have already put $5,000 just into the interior of their car or something but don't want the same kind of subs that the kid down the street has.

just so that we are all on the page does everyone know what the jackhammer is???? it is a 400 pound 3 foot wide 5 foot long subwoofer... this thing costs anywhere from 5-10 thousand smackers and wouldnt fit in a useful xb!!!!! just putting one in your car would be silly altogether!!! good imagination though!!! haha

the cost of the actual Jackhammer is $7500, $10,000 if you want it with the Sledgehammer enclosure. If a person were to get the Jackhammer they would be looking at a system that will total cost about $10,000-$15,000 between the cost of the woofer, the amps to power it, the enclosure, the upgrades that are going to be very necessary to the vehicles electrical system to power that much wattage, and the suspension upgrade that will be necessary in most vehicles. We put a Jackhammer in an Escalade with a factory suspension and it did fine.
I'm not sure where you're getting you facts Scion_xb_guy_05 but none of the measurements for the Jackhammer are 5 feet.

i happen to love the sound the jackhammer puts out in my scion.....Oops sorry i was day dreaming there.
i have heard the MTX at a Japan car show. WOW. they only had it at full power for 5 minutes and they only played it that loud an hour before the actual show opened. so i had to get there early to see it. MAN LOUD. i will always remember that sub. HUGE LOUD (i want one) not practical at all, but neither was the audiobahn what did they call it 40 inch monstrosity. there was a huge subwoofer. not as powerful as the jackhammer is, but it was HUGE, and displaced alot of air. i saw it placed into a Suburban. took out the back seat to put it in, also a HUGE SUBWOOFER. sounded better during normal use, the MTX was def amazing loud, but sounded off at lower levels (normal use) just food for thought...

yea i dont think anyone has or will really.
my setup thats going in right now consists of 6 12" subs and will look a hell of a lot cooler, and sound a ton better than one 5K jackhammer. thats just my .02
