Default head unit

does anyone know if the stock head unit has preouts, or do i need a new one????
any sites with picks on head unit installation

no it doesnt have preouts. Do a search next time and youll find out.

You don't HAVE to get a new HU to add in an amp(s)....all you need is A) amp(s) with hi-level inputs, or B) a line level converter....

the new HU would give you the best sound though....

i have my system hooked up to the stock HU and it was hell setting up i would just go straight for the new HU saves alot of headache

some people have trouble setting all the levels correctly on a converter, others don't.....I'd say if you have a problem with the converter, take it to a good audio shop for installation....
