Default Holy Crap a Car Seat and Stroller??

So I'm installing the rest of my system in the xB which consists of......................

Alpine CD/MP3 head unit
JL Audio 300/4
JL Audio 500/1
JLAudio 10w7
Focal 6 1/2 inch separates in front
Focal Coax in rear

when my wife tells me its gonna be too loud and take up too much room, i was like what are you talking bout??? she then tells me how do you expect to fit a car seat AND stroller in there with that sub box??

so i say well we wont have to worry bout that for a while so when the time comes ill deal with it and she says.................well time is here!!!!!!!!

Yup that's right I'm gonna be a DADDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

holy crap in nervous

well wish me luck

Oh and any other dads out there??? this is my first baby so I'd glady take some advice

I'm not a dad, but I have a niece and nephew. Only thing I can tell you from being around the fathers during the pregnancy is this:

Smile and nod.

The last thing you are going to want to do is ____ off a pregnant woman.

Actually, one more thing, if you are in the hospital and the doctors start talking about checking this and that and the other thing, jokes don't go over well.

I am as well a new father with a 5 month old.
...as far as advice for you're car, this is what ive got.
For people who wanted to save space in there xB/xA's i have been making fiberglass/ MDF bandpass boxes. (well i should say ive made 2) Anyways, what I do is glass the entire spare tire well (yes you loose the spare)
And then I build the box accordingly. Now this is NOT the best setup if you're an audiophile, as its primarily designed for output and a small sub, but from my experience it has worked very well and its actually the setup i am current building for my car.
You might want to rethink the subs, but overall its a pretty cool idea. Just very hard to build one that sounds right.
Good Luck and Congrats

You could mount the car seat up there with a plastic bubble for shielding ala the pope mobile! haha ok that would be silly

Congrats BTW

Congrats!

My wife and I will be sporting a new car seat in two months. Choose to go with a JDM car seat to go with the JDM curtains I told her that would block the baby from the sun.

Recaro has you covered so that you can still somewhat modify your car.

lol.. see if they make a car seat like those egg shapped chairs from back in the 70's where you could hear nothing in them unless they were directly in front of you... and even that was quieter... that'll help "too loud" part

Congrats Man! I have a 1 year old baby girl myself it is the greatest thing in the world. all I did to keep the system in my car was went out and bought a Graco Mosaic Travel system the stroller folds small enough to fit behind the front seats on the floor and the car seats fit no problem even now with the toddler seat becasue of all of the rear seat leg room. hope this helps. Get as much sleep as you can now!!!!
