how do I change bulbs on xA?
Oh this is hard atleast for me ,,,I am having a hard time changing the bulbs on my xa...
first the reflector falls in the light , I fish it out but then when I get to putting in the bulb the harness that holds the bulb in needs to be reattached while your slipping the bulb in. It seems as though there's no easy way to do this. I'm wondering how the driver side bulb can be changed. Does the battery and fuse box need to be removed to do this? Any suggestions? besides going to the DEALER, UGGGGH!
ok later the same day I figured it out....
1. on the driver side you have to remove the battery and the loosen the fuse box , atleast move it out the way so that you can get to the bulb.
2. pull the connector , remove the rubber housing around the bulb, and DONOT REMOVE THE SCREW HOLDING THE BULB CLIP, if you do, the bulb reflector will fall into the headlight lens, so don't remove it just loosen it,
3. remove the bulb and just for safety sake do not touch the bulb.
4. replace the bulb, do not touch the bulb lens, tighten the screw and snap the bulb clip in.
5. reverse the de install on the fuse box and battery
6. for the passenger side just remove the bulb clip, rubber housing, and loosen the clip like before. You don't have to deal with the battery and fuse box.
7. by the way your clock and trip odometer will reset to default when you remove the battery.
I'll get some pictures up for the next time. If you need some assistance PM me....
