yeah contact cement is what a shop here uses, he said anything in an aerosol can will sag in a couple months, he said hes used it all and cc is the best. gotta spray the headliner and the material, let it dry then hit it again, im about to tackle mine with black suede, ill post up later how it went.

I just bought some suede, but looking at the picture with the OEM fabric removed, now I'm wondering about the feasability of leaving any kind of fabric off and painting it with two part automotive paint. I have almost a whole quart left from my last project color matched to the exterior paint. That, along with the urethane primer and clear, would probably look pretty nice. I just worry that the reduced thickness might create gaps with the A, B and C pillar, or fit kind of loose.

the headliner material is very thin, probably wont have gaps, but it's not pretty without the material.

you really should wrap it in a new color, much better than ust paint.
