Default How to wire a positive behind a cigarette lighter

Hi, I want to know what is the best/clean way to wire a positive behind a cig lighter. Does it require soldering? Pictures would be nice. Thanks

You can always get a wiretap and do that, but doing it to the cigarette lighter is NOT a good idea, you might want to find a better wire, or run a fresh one from the battery (bigger gauge wire, then you can use it for other 12v needs)

if it's just leds, then the cig lighter will be fine.

wire taps work nicely.
