I need help with XB sound setup
Here's my situation.
I have 125w 6.5 kicker midbass, 150w 12 inch kicker prefab box, and a punch 40x4 amp in my closet from my last car. I also have a rf epx2 (eq/xover)
1. Should I buy just by a kicker resolution 4 comps for the dash and put the midbass in the front doors with a new van gogh amp 80x4. And 4ohm bridge my punch amp to produce 150 and have the other 2 channels that I can bridge later on and add another 12 kicker boxed 150w sub.
2. Or should I just buy a 6.5 kicker resolution comp and add nothing to the dash. Just hook up the new comps and my one 12 sub to my punch 4 channel amp.
I am really wondering if 3 way is way better, having a dedicated mid bass up front and 4 inch midrange and tweet solely dedicated for front stage imaging up in the dash.

my opinion: get the 4" spereates, mid-bass in doors. if you want to run a single amp for everything get a big 4 channel or better yet a 5 channel amp.
4 channel amp set up: run dash speakers and mid-bass together with a x-over on the mid-bass so they don't play high frequencies, run front channels of amp to them. bridge rear channels of amp to run sub. let radio run rear speakers for fill, preferably with a x-over so you don't send alot of bass to them.
5 channel set up: same as 4 channel but the amp will have 2 more outputs to run the rear speakers.
there are many ways to go. just take your time.
