I painted my instrument bulbs....
I had a few hours to kill and no mods to do for my xB so I just decided to change my instrument color (in AC section), though i haven't figured out how to remove the speedometer cover so I couldn't change that. I bought a paint set from Michael's specially made for painting GLASS for like $8, can't beat that with 8 different colors. I coated lightly with blue and it looks more of white then blue, I think it's a good way to kill about an hour if you have nothing to do...
If anyone know how to remove the panel for odometer area, please let me know how so that I can complete it, thanks!

glass paint will stick to glass no problem,
but any paint can stick.
the issue is.. is the heat generated by the bulb going to fade the paint?
after time it might! thats why car companies use a little latex/rubber(condom like)
thing to color their bulbs. amber is easy on the eyes and yet very visible at nite.
anyways. let us see them pictures!

Well, here's the pic of my instrument color. It's really hard to tell that it's more white, but if you compare it to my raido's color, you can tell easily.( I had to take a pic with my Palm, since it's too dark for my digital camera)
Sorry, somehow it wasn't working as it should have been.
