Default Inside neons.

Hey guys im new here. I wanted to get some orange neons for my xA. And i just wanted to know if anyone knows if its better to go with 6" or 9" for under the drivers and passengers side. Then under the drivers and passenger seats.

And if this site is reliable or not.

LED, cathode or Fiber are all better choices in my opinion. I'd wished I'd found out about Fiber before I wired the b.

If I can make a recommendation, get the cathodes from Randode.com! They're plug-n-play and so easy to install...

What is cathode exactly? I was doing some research on it, but idk exactly what it is. And what color would go best with a silver xA w/ black interior. I was thinking orange because it comes with that little orange light but that site doesn't offer orange.

Oznium has nice 12 inch cold cathodes. 2 sets does all 4 positions.

Why you no likey cathodes. They are brighter than LEDs plus they are cheaper. 2 sets of 12" cathodes are only like 16 bucks. Seems like a no brainer. Cold cathodes FTW!

Cathodes are fragile. LEDs last longer, and are more durable.

Cathodes arent brighter that why I switched and they are fragile and with the LEDs its just two wires vs the cathodes have the box you have to plug them into. The flexible LEDs have 8 diff sizes.

Orange is not a very bright color.

Although if you really want orange, AND you want it bright, this is your only option: http://www.oznium.com/high-power-waterproof-led-module

Put 1 of the 120 degree ones under each side of the dash.

Trust me, you will be amazed by the brightness.

You could even hook them up to the controller to make them flash: http://www.oznium.com/cathode-music

If you don't want it as bright, then you can try these: http://www.oznium.com/led-flex-strips

The 9.5" or 19" would be a good choice for each side.

Put it this way... I have LEDs and Cold Cathodes under my xB. 2 cold cathodes per side are 2-3 times brighter than the full length strip of leds
The led tubes are 4 ft verses 2 ft of cold cathodes. Period end of discussion!!!!!

Plus cathodes are only fragile if not mounted correctly. My underdash cathodes have lived for 3 years under my dash and rear seats. Guess I mounted them right huh?
And are they bright. They light up my headliner and side pillars.

Ok well I'm not going to argue because IN MY OPINION the leds were brighter and thats why I switched. I had them side by side in my car and the leds were brighter. And even if you mount them correctly somehow you could hit them and they could break.

I agree they could break. I've got cathodes on my wifes jeep and they have been mudding a few times and they still work fine. They do take some abuse but to a point.
Maybe you had different leds than mine? Mine are nite glow leds so that could be why.
