Most in dash units have an iPod direct connect they offer. As an example I have a Kenwood DDX 6019 in dash dvd with the Kenwood IP500 iPod direct connect which takes the port that a CD changer would go. CHeck with the manufacture of your HU they might have something but you might be SOL.

i don't like controlling my ipod through the headunit. i'd rather use the click wheel so i don't mind using it through the aux input like i have it now. what i wanted to do was have the image on my ipod display on the screen as well.

I think there is a cable that will allow you to wire straight into a A/V cable set up. It's designed for the ipod, I don't think it's made by apple. Might be monster or someone else like monster. Check the local shops like Best Buy or even the apple store. If all else fails I know I have seen them on eBay. BTW Valor has been coming up lately and their stuff isn't bad. I just don't like how you don't get ANY support from chinese products. Unless it's alpine but then again they just make them in china now. Good luck!

This is what I am talking about. I'm not sure this is what you want but hopefully it helps.

And a quick helper guide.

or

hope it helps, It seems to work with TV inputs, I don't see why it wouldn't work on a In-Dash. As long as you have the A/V in it should do the trick.

Clarion is the only company I've seen that is even close to the iPod look on the screen. it shows a click wheel but as for other stuff I'm not sure. http://www.clarion.com/us/en/product...294767357.html

this radio should do the trick, just need the cable from them also to make it work.

Go to any Radio Shack, they have two A/V cables that will plug into your headphone jack. One is made by Radio Shack and is about 24.99 and another by Accurian(I think) that is 15.

Either will work.

It has the 1/8 inch headphone jack with three bands on it to connect ot your iPod on one end and red/white/yellow component cables on the other end. Hopefully your inputs match up.
