cool, this is very similar to what i did in my xB - except i took two 6" cold cathode tubes and attached them to the back of the service panels (so they're hidden) and wired them to the dome light switch - so when you open my trunk there is a nice cool blue glow to the cargo area, not so much to be garish, but enough to be able to see what you're doing when it's dark out
the slats on the covers are slatted down so it looks really stealth, i've got pictures but i borrowed my moms digi camera to take them and then forgot to burn a cd - i took step by step shots, i'll make a FAQ as soon as i get them - the hardest part was finding the dome light switch circut wire and a 12v lead without hacking the harness all up.
