Default kenwood ddx7015 and sirius problem !!

hey i just installed the sirius tuner for my sirius-ready headunit ( ddx7015) but i cant for the life of me figure it out. There is no sirius option at all on the controls ....there is tuner, dvd, nav, video, standby but no sirius ...its just a cord from the headunit to the tuner so its not like i wired it wrong , anyone have any suggestions !! thanks

I haven't messed with Kenwoods in a few years, but most radios wont go to sirius if its not plugged in right. Not that yours is not plugged in but check the connections try unplugging and replugging the connections. If that dosent work try having it all plugged in and and reseting the radio, if that dosent work you may need to call Kenwood tech support. Good luck

The only time this has happened to me is if the satelite tuner isn't getting any power. It doesn't happen on just Kenwoods, it happens on most of the head units I've worked with. You will be able to get the ESN from the options control while in satelite mode. Cheers.
