BMW's dont come with UV's, they come with Projector xenon lights... I know on the site it says they are street legal, however, I found on a different site that they were for show/off road use. Can the guy from Luminics answer my question?

None of our bulbs are DOT approved but we sell thousands of bulbs a month and have had only 1 person receive a ticket for our bulbs. The one person that received a ticket was from Virginia. He was driving a fully raced out civic that should have been on the track.

I have personally been driving with the yellows in my high and low for the last 8 months then for the last 1+ month I have been driving with yellow and violet in my lows. Once the new 9006 ultra violets came in on Friday I put those in both of my lights.

Speaking of 9006 UVs, I've had some on order along with a pair of 9005s since 3/16/2005. I have left messages and sent emails to you guys about the status of my order...maybe you can help me out.

All emails we receive we respond to same day they are received. We also kept everyone on the board updated with the status of the 9006 Ultra Violet bulbs being stuck in customs.

We received them Friday afternoon at roughly 3:30pm we shipped out as many as we could in the little time we had left. We had our shipping department come in on Saturday to ship the remaining bulbs out.
ALL BACK ORDERS HAVE BEEN SHIPPED OUT.

ok, i got my luminics in and they are ok here are some pics that show the differences between the luminics and the no name brand that came with my projectors. i tried the silverstars for the weekend and was very impressed with the light output, between the two i think next time i buy bulbs silverstars will be the choice. no offense but that is my personal opinion, thanks again.

at first i saw white with a hint of purple, kinda looked like H.I.D, now that i've been driving for 15 minutes, all I see is white, like Silverstar's. Still happy that it's pure white, but kinda wished it were a little bit more purple. Oh well, brighter than stock I think.

OK, here are the photos of my Luminics UV in the tC. The first one's probably the most accurate in terms of side-by-side color and brightness. I have the Phillips Nighthawk on the left side, but they are pretty much the same as stock (waste of money, of course). The other 2 photos are a bit darker, due to the camera. The last one is the the Luminics by itself (not as bright in pics). Enjoy!

Actually, if you ride in cars w/ HID (my experience in the Audi A4, BMW 3,BMW 5,and Benz C-Class), you don't really see purple, just amazingly bright white light. You really only see purple when you go outside and look at the HID off from the sides a bit.

I just installed my UVs, it looks nice from the outside.

But the visibility is worse than stock bulbs. IS this normal? I mean when there are other cars or street lights around me, i can't see my light on the road.

It makes me feel like as if I forgot to turn on my headlight.

Please advice.

yah I know, my mom has a BMW M5. I was just referring to the actual color appearance from outside, it's pretty white. I still like it.
