Hey everyone
I'm trying to modify the front seat of my xA. Without going into too much detail, basically I want to make the front passenger seat either fold ALL THE WAY BACK or ALL THE WAY FORWARD, so that stuff can be put on top of it and be level.

I don't know a lot about cars. I've been told the stock seat can't be modified to move in this way.

A seat that folds front like this (from toyota sienna) would be cool:



Or if it went all the way back, that would be cool too. The stock seats do not do either. I looked at racing seats with "infinite recline" but I have no idea what that even means, and can't find pictures of the chairs doing this. Does anyone have any ideas??? Do y'all think a toyota sienna seat can be put into a scion xA with relative ease?

 

In my xb I push the passenger seat all the way forward , and lay it down.
Puts the seat level with the bottom seat in the back.

Mind you , the seat goes all the way under the glove box. Fit an 8 ft long board in there.

 

In the tC you can do that as well. Just pop off the headrests, slide the seat forward, then lay it flat.

 

get a front passenger seat from a Toyota Matrix, they do that - miss that from my old xRS

 

well the xA seat won't go all the way down. Totally not cool! I have seen that the xB's seats will go all the way back. Does anyone know if the seats for an xB can be put in an xa?
