I have sold about 10 of the PLT-5 and customers love them. They are not built for spl. What they are built for is to complete your system. the plt-5 sounds like 2 10'2
the 7 sounds like 2-12's. You have to listen to them in a car they only sound OK in a sound room. It is not something you will be happy with if you are trying to be heard from 1 block away it is a SQ peice.

 

This is what I don't get. Their ploy is: "the sound of 2 12's, or the sound of 2 10's" but yet they're not meant to shake the neighborhood. any good pair of 10's or 12's is going to shake some §hit up... a single 10 will sound the same as 2 of the same 10's with the volume turned down a little bit.... guess I'm just a skeptic...or a basshead
