Default My new Boomerang Leather Armrest

I got my Boomerang Leather Armrest top in today and took a few pics. Looks way better than the one that it came with! It looks way lighter in color in the pics cause of the flash. It matches perfect and will look great when I get my Katzkin in.

The original rubber one.

E-mail or call Chris to ask about buying just the top armrest. He's also selling the whole armrest unit with the leather too. http://www.scionarmrest.com/home.html

Just curious...what do you think makes it less than perfect?

The stitching is all over the place, lumpy in the front as shown in the first picture, and wrinkly where it tucks under in the front. Also the rear does not look straight across where the hinge is. Details make the difference.

Granted, the stitching isn't exactly laser-straight, but it's hardly "all over the place". It's as good as I've seen many upholstery jobs. I think it looks great.

If its good for you, buy one. Looks like a prototype to me. Everyone has different standards.

Dude it's a armrest for a $15,000 car, it isn't like it's for a caddy or something. Besides the pics doesn't do it justice. There isn't any lumpy places nor any wrinkles and the stitching looks pretty straight to me. I guess you have to see it in person though. The back is on straight, I took the pics before I screwed it down.

Okay. Let me rephrase that. How much did _you_ pay for the new armrest lid? :D
