Thanks guys. It's turning out to be quite a project. I'll post new pics as I make more progress. :D

been trying to get that off, but wasn't able to.

I'll look into that. I know that the pillars on either side of the windshield are held on with claws/clips, but I think you need to remove the dash speaker grilles first (but they too, are also held on with clips.)
