Having jacked up the vehicle, and lying down on my back facing ahead of the car, what direction am I to turn the bulb when I insert my arm into the left side front underside to access the fog lamp"

Same scenario for the right side of the car---please...

I tried and felt it would break---want to change to the yellow luminics bulbs this weekend..

counterclockwise i believe, but you may have to squeeze a part on the socket end so it allows you to turn..u just gotta look close thats all

um i do own and drive a xB i just dont know how that avatar crap or whatever it is changes. just look at it closely, have u taken bulbs out of cars before? if you did you probably did one where u had to squeeze the tab so u can actually turn it out . hope that helps

hamads: Click 'Profile' in the grey bar at the top and then 'edit' on the right to add your vehicle. You can add an avatar at the bottom left as well.

hawaiiguy: Changing the fogs was a real pain. I did not have to squeeze any tabs, but could just barely reach the bulbs. I am 6'0". I can't recall which direction they turn. I went in from the bottom, thats the only way I could reach the passenger side bulb and it was still very tough.
