Default Need help for watching DVD in Eclipse Avn 5435 while driving

I have installed my Eclipse AVN 5435. I heard people from this form mantioned that it can play DVD movie while driving, can anyone teach me how to set that up?? Thanks x 1000000000

BTW I am going to picture my pimpest black box in Wisconsin. 3 DVD screen, lowered spring, Blue LCD light, SLIVER SPLINDLEs on BLACK WHEELs (custom match, buy them seperately). + almost every "performance parts" from the dealer (oh don't worry, they forget to charge me the installation price... when they find out, they just raise my trade-in 04 Toyota RAV4 to $18750<<5000miles with a 3000 damage accident)

Looking forward to picture it after the busy finals week

Oh don't forget to answer my question, please....

Ground the parking brake wire... if you get pulled switch t to a bright screen so the cop cant say you were watching a movie.

PS dont watch a movie when you drive its dangerous.

?

The wire that goes to the parking brake needs to be grounded. Really no easier way to sum it up.

Just don't get distracted and get in an accident... sure would suck if you hurt someone else or their property because you were watching a DVD while you were driving...

you need to ground the wire labeled parking brake and there might be another I cant remeber I know the Avic (Pioneer) and the Alpine units had 2 wires that needed to be grounded.

I am sorry but i am not really good at using terms, when you mean grounded, you mean take it out or put it aside? hook it to somewhere? lay it on the floor? Do you think I can ask the retailer servies to do that (where I get my nav get setup). Thanks a lot

Most retailers wont do it because of liability issues. You might want to see if the Installer will be wiling to do the install on the side off-the clock.

Wow you don't know what a ground wire is? Not making fun of you but this is like elementary school science. In very simplistic terms there are positive wires (power) and negative (ground)

Anyway your wires on your headunit should be labeled or look in your manuel and it will tell you what color is what. On my unit the green wire was the parking break wire and 99% of the time the black wire is the ground wire. So you would splice the green into the black wire. Basically tie the green wire to the black wire so it was like 2 lines running into 1. Or think of it as two rivers running into one river.

Basically yes. Take the ground wire and cut it in half. Take the park break wire and twist it to the one part of the ground wire. Then take the other part of the ground wire adn attach it to that.

Basically it will form a "Y"

Just quick splice (available at auto-zone) another wire onto it, and screw the extra wire to bare metal in the car.

And the radio, cell phone, mcdonalds, kids screaming, alcohol, navigation systems don't get you killed? Poor drivers making poor choices get peopel killed. Personally I have my DVD player for the passenger.
