That sounds like a pretty sweet setup. Definitely try it in home before you install. There's nothing worse then sitting in your car trying to fix errors. My screen is using VGA, I have RCA connections but the resolution would be so bad you wouldn't be able to see anything. The Actual version of XP I have is Pro w/ SP2. I stripped out all of the languages, IE, some of the integrated stuff I would never use in a box made to play media (net meeting etc). My receiver is stock. Actually there isn't anything holding it in to the ez-bake, other then the plastic trim and my psychic abilities. I would most definitely use the 1/8 RCA connection on your HU. If you want to make your own cable (add some finesse and bragging rights) go here DIY Audio Cables . I made my own 90deg. headphone jack to RCA cable for my upgrade and it's pretty sweet.

Here are the updated pictures I promised.



New backplate with updated mobo.



I changed the orientation of the box so now the front faces the backseats, and I added a real wire harness.



My center console with the re-sanded and painted bezel. (and my new DIY shift ****, and yes that is a REAL pool ball)
I thought the upgrade turned out great.
