Default PAC SWIX works great for 06 steering wheel radio controls

This was so easy. I yanked out the 06 radio and put in my more powerful 60Wx4 Alpine which sounds great with stock speakers. Much better than stock. The PAC interface is easy and is only a 4 wire hook up and works with most radios. They even supply instructions to which wires on the radios plug to hook it up to. Just use the one for 05 Camary.

Same questions here. I want to add a navi/dvd screen. But I've been looking around trying to figure out what was compatible with the tC's steering wheel audio controls.

I believe thats what this entire post was about.....Use the Pac interface for the '05 Camry, and your steering controls will work.....

This is something that I really wanted to hear! I plan on getting a Pioneer 860 and using the PAC SWI-X with it. Exactly what four wires did you connect and where did you connect them.

Also was programming hard and how many functions did you get to program?
