Hello,
So I've got Borbet LV4 wheels which have an Anthracite coating (see below)
and I found spray paint that matches the color EXACTLY (it's by Montana Gold). I want to do my xA's interior trim with it, but I'm concerned about how well it will hold up on the plastic. I looked for white primer under the assumption that the final color would be brighter with a white base rather than black, but none of my local stores had it that I could find. So what I'm thinking about doing is using the flat white Krylon fusion paint as my basecoat since it's made for painting plastic, and then doing 3-4 coats of the anthracite paint on top w/another 3 coats of satin clear coat on top of that.
Any advice?
Thanks!

Well you got lucky that the paint that matches is made by Montana Gold. They make paint for graffiti so the stuff is strong. It has a really good paint to water ratio unlike Krylon. Sounds like you have a good step by step for painting the interior just take your time!

You asked for tips earlier; my biggest one: be extra super careful when you're masking the parts off. I had some white overspray problems that I had to deal with (which led me to the solution of hairspray as a paint remover of all things...but it worked!).
Also, my booth wasn't perfect, and the Montana paint was making a lot of dust around me, so be really careful on the overall setup of your painting area.
Other than that, it wasn't a terribly difficult experience - pull off the pieces, mask them off, paint, wait, paint, wait, sand, paint, clear, clear, clear... I'm sure there's better ways to do all of this, but my end result was as good if not better than I was hoping for.

VR3 Elite ribbon tweeters from walmart! :p
I just unsoldered the old tweeters and hooked these ones up - and they do sound better than stock. For $25 it wasn't a bad deal.
They're just hot-glued on over the hole from the original tweeters - but I need to adjust the one on the left.
