My passenger side power window is having a strange problem. When I try to roll it up, it will only go a few inches. Then it stops and I have to wait for about a minute and it will roll up another few inches. I have to repeat this several times until it goes up all the way. Anyone have input on why this is happening or what I can do to fix it?

 

It's the motor

Going up, the motor gets worked, gets hot, and will shut it off. Kind of like a thermal overload. After it cools down for a minute, it will work until it gets too hot again, etc.

You can swap the motor out.

 

mine it doesn't work the window it doesn't work it is all up ,it doesn't go down ,is there any idea here or picture ,to fix it ,or how much do you think can cost me in any garage

 

I had the same problem but with the driver window ,I went to autolab ,here in Fl ,Broward ...I thought that was the motor they checked it without any cost ,and it was the switch ,for you "the passenger window" it's going to cost you less than 20 in ebay or any garage if it is the switch ,the motor cost like 140
