Do any of you AVIC owners download your own pics to the background or only use the ones they come with? Post your background pics so all can see what you use. Currently I have a Scion logo on mine. I'll post a pic as soon as it clears up outside.

Dude, I would love to see the scion logo you are runnin on the Avic. I tried to put some of my digital pics as a background, but it didn't exactly fit the screen....i guess I didnt find the ideal picture size...any ideas what that might be???

Create a BG folder on your PC and copy the JPGs into it. The folder
must be at least 100MB and the individual pics cannot be greater than
2048x1536. Limit the folder to 20 pics or less.
Note that the file name cannot have special characters. I had "_" in
the names originally and it wouldn't work. Stick to A-Z and 0-9.
Create a Data CD with your CD Creation software and copy the entire
BG folder to the newly created CD.
Insert the CD in the AVIC and go to: Settings: Background Picture
setting, then select the picture you want.
Other than the file naming issue, I had no problem

i am loving my AVIC! My old Kenwood KVT910DVD that is my Protege 5 that my wife drives now is much easier to navigate around I think and the picture on dvd seems to be a tad sharper but all in all I can't complain since this thing is loaded with features and I got a hella deal on it.
