according to tweeter, the only way to install a touchscreen monitor would be if you had a custom mounting bracket of sorts. i cant get a bracket that fits my car just to put in a regular headunit.

just a little fyi, that unit is not a radio.. Its a stand alone monitor with dvd player built in. You have to control it from a P-bus pioneer head unit...

OK..... listen up!
First off theres NO WAY IN H*%# that's a NEW unit.
I'm a Pioneer Dealer & a Pioneer Premier Dealer (and have been for 10 years)
That unit is NOT in my 04' or 05' price book!
I'd check alot more on that before purchasing it. It may be an over-seas unit
and if it is......
Also, if it is in fact an 03' or 02' then theres absolutely NO WARRANTY with Pioneer!
Just letting you know...

Just so you know...

Lava is full of it. I grew up in a stereo store, my pops has owned it for 20 years.

He's just afraid of ebay

wanted to bump up the thread and ask if I can use the AVX-P8DVD as just a standalone unit. Can it be used by itself and I just wont have a radio?
