Default Plastic Rivets

What do you call the plastic rivets that hold the fabric cover on the inside of the rear hatch or the are also on the back of rear seats holding the fabric on.

Can't seem to find them in a parts catalog and really do not know what they called.

Any stores online I can i get them?

I forget exactly what they're called, but you can get them at any auto parts store.

They're interior panel plugs or something like that.

Interior panel fasteners/clips.
If you have a loose one, take it to the auto parts store, and they'll point you in the right direction. They're pretty cheap. I've replaced all of the ones on the hatch cover a couple times.

Take a look at the drawers/bins in the hardware aisle at Lowes also.

How do you remove the stock rivets/plugs/whatever holding in the cover to the rear door panel? I'm trying to replace a broken hatch handle and for the life of me I can't get those damned plugs out. I've already scratched up my paint trying to use butter knives.

I check auto shops for "plug pullers" and they all direct me to spark plug tools. What am I supposed to be asking for exactly? And are the stock plugs the kind with sides that need to be squeezed in, or to they require force to be pulled straight out?

Also, you could get replacements at the Scion parts dept. They will look up it. Good Luck

Ask for a panel puller.
It looks like this:

Alternately, you can use a fork. LOL.
