Default Power Distribution Block

I was planning on wiring my amps myself, just one quick question. Where should I install the distribution block? closer to the battery or closer to the amps?

Default Capacitor

Depending on what you're running you might want to consider a capacitor and the ideal setup would be running a capacitor with a distribution block otherwise you should just wire the amp, distro block, and cap all as close together as possible

EMU is right, mount the db closer to your amps. You will only have to run one wire through the firewall. Just make sure that the wire is the proper gauge for your amp's power requirements.
