Default Props and Pics!!!! 56k warned

Well guys,
I finished one of the most detailed and time consuming mods ever....the HU conversion!!!! I knew the LED's were small but before you actually sit down and get going.....all i kept thinking was how the hell can i do all of these without going insane!!!!! It took my roughly 4 hours from start to turning on the car and enjoying it...this is one mod that i will always be proud of (i even kept the old LEDs to show people what i was working with!!! )
First off i want to say MAD props to the following who have made this possible ....since i have been waiting for some direction for a while....and now i know why!!!!

BIG Thanks to:
itstdt (for the walk through....first one!!!)

Blue_Estel (for being one of the first to do it and giving tips...including the best polarity sheet once i figured out how to use it!!!!! even though you skipped out on the DIY....the polarity sheet makes up for it!!)

engifineer (for the hints and tips as well, Plus the Center Console fix which i will be asking for help with because i feel that is over my head!!!!)

Now for the Pics and just a little warning i couldnt control the brightness of the pics but the LCD screen is not really that over-powering.....but now i need to fix my HVAC LOL

Full shot!!! Sorry a little shaky i was flipping after 4 hours no food or bathroom breaks!!!!!

Here are some bonus shots i just recently taken
hotckis drop....and just installed the rear and front sway bar.....plus pics of motor mounts install...BIG THANKS TO Joel aka Tamago

WELL hope you enjoyed my pics!!!!!

Just remember if you try the HU conversion ....have extra LEDs, go slow, and have mad time on hand!!!!!

Later
~Jason

why upgrade a deck that has absolutely no independant equilization? only approx 20watts rms per channel on a good day , and yeah. nevermind i guess i'll never get why people keep these stock decks.

Removing the stupid LCD took me a few hours because I'm not used to desoldering things...

Doing the LEDs/Resistors/new traces/cutting the old traces was about 2 hours total because I kept running back to the computer to check the walk through w/ the resistor part

Mandos
I think that Hvac correction will be my next task.....did you already replace the LEDs before you did the correction or all at once...trying to see if since me leds are already in place if that makes it easier or harder???

Thanks Jason, I figured if I couldn't get the DIY out, at least if I threw the Polarity sheet out to you guys then somebody would make the write-up eventually... You guys did a really great job!

I replaced the LEDs then changed it over the next day. It's pretty simple...as long as you put a dab of extra solder on the points you need to add wires to it's cake
