i dont know the screen is really clear but i would not reccomend mounting it in your car... its meant to be portable maybe you can make a bracket or something???? it is a great system though... dub comes out soon cannot wait...

hey i was thinking the same thing... you prob would have to fiber glass a holder and run the audio from the headphone jack to rca's and then for power you prob have to get a power converter so you can just plug it in- im thinking of the same thing you are dude...

you can probably use this charge display stand:
http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?cat...ducts_id=6022&

or use this one:
http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?cat...ducts_id=6020&

im sure u can mount them or modify them to be mounted. then all you need is to figure out to wire it to the stereo which should be easy cuz ive plugged my psp to my computer speakers before. you probably just need one of them wires thats a headphone jack on one side and red & white rcas on the other.
and you can just pull 'em out when you need

I don't know exactly what the benefit would be to mount it in a car. You'd only be able to watch PSP movies and you'd probably have to take it off the mount to change the disc. Playing games on it wouldn't seem like much fun unless you could connect a external controller to it.

Why would you mount a PSP in a car? It's a handheld unit that doesn't have an connector for an external contoller or video outputs to an external screen. If it's mounted on the dash, are you going to reach over to play it? The only pratical use is as a video player or eye candy if it's mounted. Did that episode of Pimp my Ride with the 3 PSPs in it influence you?

people have too much time and too much money on their hands. it'd be a waste of money and effort.

yea, no inputs or outputs (except audio) its good for playing movies, i guess... it's good chatter while you take a long drive (hey, im the one who puts his laptop on the dash for movies on a long drive)

well, the point of "mounting" it in your car would be two-fold: portable mp3 player for your car and portable movie/vid player for your car. of course you wouldn't want to "mount" it in the car just to pull it out to play a video games while driving.

although, maybe you guys aren't aware that it can play mp3's and movies? so yes, i think it's a great idea to mount it similar to how the guy with the lexus did. hook it up to your stereo to listen to mp3's on the go or to watch movies on the go. then, when you aren't driving your car, you'd remove it and play vid games.

yes but it's overpriced as well as most mp3 players , and it can only play psp videos / cd's a waste to me.
