Default put BOSE speakers in my xB....hehehe

i was bored today and i had an extra set of bose cube speakers layin around so i took out those small 3-4 inchers by the front window and replaced them with the BOSE ones....OH MAN what a nite and day difference....all the bells and whistles are so clear...now when i hook them up to my amp and eq oh lordy lordy imma go nuts tuning the sound...its so powerful. the vocals and highs jump out. if interested in pics of my install...let me know...ill make a link to it...it was so easy to put in and what a BIG diff it made...aite guys/gals imma go lissen to some crap in the car now...peace

Are those from a home audio setup, I bet. Like the square 80's version? Don't push em, they're weak and'll pop all the time. I don't think bose makes aftermarket speakers like that, just the ones that come factory in some cars and you don't see those being pushed.

Default aite aite i need help posting pics

ok i got the pics in my digital cam but im having problems with my website,,,my computers java is getting wacked up...so if anyone wants me to email them the pics, ill be glad to share them...as for them popping...so far none...sounds pretty clear to me...im using the stock radio for now but ill add my amp tomorrow with the EQ and see how it sounds, im thinking if my yamaha home reciever is pusing 100watts to the speakers with no probs i would think my 80watt alpine amp will be okay. i put the volume up to 55 with no distorsion, its freakin loud.....the bose speaker is about the same size of the stock speaker but has a fat magnet. sooooo ill try to get my java working but in the meantime....ill email anyone who wants to post the pics...thanks for your patience guys

Hehe...dredging up the old stuff.
Just curious about this setup. If you're still running it and how it is holding up to the sunlight.
