Default Question about speaker upgrade.

Hey everyone, I've been working on upgrading the system in my xB. I just bought 2 12" Diamond Audio D3's, a Hifonics Zeus XX 1600RMS Mono amp, and am having a custom enclosure built. My next step is my interior speakers. Right now, I have 3 pairs of Pyle's in there...big mistake. I'm a little confused about this, but I want to upgrade the 6.5" door speakers with a component system:
MB Quart DSE-216: http://www.bizrate.com/marketplace/p...-11334063.html
I'm thinking using the tweeters to replace the dash speakers (4").
I'm also thinking about putting a coaxial set of speakers in the back deck, so for now, I was thinking I'd just leave the pair of Pyle's in there.
Now, I need an amp. I was thinking of going with the:
Kicker KX350.4: http://www.bizrate.com/marketplace/p...-11696730.html
Is this a good choice? I'd wanna run the amp at 2ohms, is that possible? Also, with this amp could I power the components (door, and dash) and the rear deck coaxials?
Also, would I need a cap or anything like that?
I'd really appreciate any help, I'm such a girl when it comes to this stuff!!!

both brands ond speakers are good and would sound nice but the matching Diamond D3 comp./coax are about the best sounding speakers in there price range the biggest thing to good sound is to seal the door with some kind of sound deadning like dynamatt seal the front of the speaker from the rear this can make or break any set of speakers and if done right is worth every cent.
as far as the amp thats a good price for the power running it in 2ohmwoun require u to if say had a set of comp/4ohm and a set of coax/4ohm to parallel the 4 speaker inputs
and conect them to two channels of the ampthat woudld defeat the porpuse of buying a 4 ch. amp
that amp all channels driven at 4ohms to 4 speakers should do fime on any speaker , but for best choose your speakers and than buy an amp that will drive them to there full if not a little more than rms.
max/ peak watts mean nothing in this prosess

Default Question about speaker upgrade

I went with the Diamond Audio D661a comp. in the front and the D361coaxial in the back. They sound incredible! Next up a Diamond Audio sub.
