Question for Eclipse avn2454 owners!
#2
I've been wanting the AVN-2454 mainly for the DIN size. Here's what I know from a lot of forums I've read:
The AVN-2454 has 3 pre-out rated at 0.8 volts.
Lot's of these people posting often complain about the pre-outs having a ridiculous low amount of power. I'm not planning on throwing a fullblown audio bonanza into my xA, but would hope the 50w will do just as fine on my stock speakers as the OEM Pioneer unit does.

Yes. There are 3 pre-outs @ 0.8 volts.
I'm running a 50wrms x 4 multichannel amplifiter off of two and using the non-fader preouts for my subwoofer amplifier. I used the internal amplifier with the stock speakers for about a week and it sounded better than the stock headunit. It's not 50wrms though, so don't expect it to be.

All though the outputs are only .8 they sound decent when compared to other systems. I havent really noticed much a difference between the other competition (kenwood / pioneer)
You can always add processors and boosters , but then you just have boosted and processed crap.
