if i was that guy in the video i'd be worried about the shattered glass thats stuck on the tint scraping my hatch lid and bumper when it slid downwards...but i guess he was more worried about making it shatter than anything else

heck i like bass as much as the next guy, but that's like beat'n a kid, no reason ta TRY & shatter the rear window, well no reason i can think of anyway. i'd say looks a little fake too, you know what RED would say from that 70's show........ dumb ***!!, lol

pretty weak, also if you noticed it looked like the guy opened the the rear door to help "shatter" the rear window. I bet the guy was in the car the whole time the bass was hitting, and I'm sure he didn't have hearing protection.
however I give props to the woman filming it, she seems very supportive which finding a woman/gilrfriend/wife that is supportive of the car audio habit is hard to find. so guys if you have a girl that likes car audio you better hold on to her!

The window tint and sticker hold it together. They crack where the tint is weak or there is no tint around the seal. I had seen this before but it was an accident. Not sure what they were trying to prove. Kinda dumb. I had seen this at audio show downs before. Some of the major audio players have to put hold downs across the winshields and screw them into the body of the vehicle to keep them from popping out. Pretty sick. We seen the front window in an S10 blazer pop out and break all over the ground. The blazer had 12 10's in the rear of it.

Now, I might be impressed if they hadn't done the 'hey look! when i open and close the door the pressure changes...thereby making the weakened glass flex.' The subs might have cracked the glass out of the frame but it was the pressure from opening and closing the door that made it fall out.

The way the center of the glass poked out was a bit fishy. I don't think speakers of any kind; create a "glass poking" bass that makes coated glass bulge more than a few inches. Definitely an object
Also, why the hell would anyone want to film an intentional "shattering" of the back windshield of their car with their own personal 12 year old fan based community watching?

I'm thinking the glass was already weakened with a crack and they were probably just seeing if they could make it come the rest of the way out... there's no way that would be possible otherwise... you'd have to have the sub box sealed to the window....

I want to know what they had in there. Something was not right with the whole thing. It takes allot of pressure to blow the glass. I also noticed that the glass was not moving with the bass that much. I think there was someone in the car pushing the glass out. My system moves my roof of my car about an inch and the glass about a 1/4 inch. I have 2 12s and hit 147 on the meter. What do they hit? I think it was setup!

i find that very hard to believe. any vehicle is able to take ALOT of db's before the windows shatter. i've seen vehicles with normal stock glass hit 165db, sure the glass is moving but it never did shatter. and i can tell you this right now, there is no way you can get 165db with a pair of little 10's, i'm sorry about thats outside the laws of physics, those things would have to move 5-6 inches going back and forth accurately to do something like that to move the amount of air needed for 165db.
thats totaly fake and i think that guy was in the inside shattering it himself cause he probably said he could do it when he really couldn't.
