looks good. how do you like the kenwood amp. i have the same one on 2 12's but i mounted mine under the passenge seat. it rocks the 2 12's real nice.

not bad, the blue works good with the car. i might just be the cam light but i looks like the trim paint by the window is spotty.

the center peice of the blue is removable and will soon be made out of acrylic with james and chric'c shops name on it... so you will see the amp through it

1) The extreme vibrations from the subs being attached to the amp (as opposed, to say, mounting the amp under the seat) does not play nicely with the boards and mounting points within the amp. Surely, the amp is not going to die immediately, but I would bank on failure sooner than when mounting the amp away from the subs.

2) The amp generates heat. Amps need to breathe. He put the amp in an enclosure not much larger than the size of the amp itself. Just like computers don't like prolonged heat, amps don't either.

Like I said, I'm not saying his amp will die right after cranking it up, but I surely wouldn't expect it to last as long as a more thought out system.

But as long as it looks pretty, right?
