Scion 2010 Pioneer Stereo
Hey guys, I just have a quick question.
I recently bought one of the 2010 Scion Pioneer Stereos for my 2005 xB. Fits like a charm and works great however the 05 does not have iPod or AUX inputs already built in. Looking around online, I came across the TOYAUX produts that plug into the 12 pin plug on the back. But there's several types of them, TOYAUX3, TOYAUX3S, and the TOYAUX4. Does anyone know which one exactly would work on mine? I greatly appreciate it, thanks!
And here's a link to one of the TOYAUX4:

Thanks for your time!

hmm.. none of them.
the '05 xB does not have the pre-wiring in the vehicle that would normally be connected to the radio.. and even then, you would need the extra harness/cable as well.
it is not something easily aquired.. though people have made their own harnesses before... which i have seen been sold on ebay.
now with the 2010 radio in particular.. it is even more difficult since they changed the wiring so that the AUX and iPod share the same harness...
with the amount of effort and money needed.. you would've been better off buying an aftermarket deck for your 2005 vs buying another stock radio from a newer year.
