I have recently purchased a Scion Alarm, but it is for a 2006 with radio controls. I wasn't aware of this until after i purchased the item. Is it possible to hook up the alarm without have trouble with it since i have a 2004 xb with no radio controls. Also does anyone have a install manual on the alarm.

 

Well I'm not sure if 06 alarm will work on an 04, TRDsparks.com has two different models listed for the 04 and 06 which leads me to believe that there is some difference between them. Scion part # 08586-52960 for cars without wheel Audio Controls and Scion part # 08586-52961 for cars with audio controls.

However, scionpartspeople.com has the same model of alarm listed for both years, indicating that they will work regardless of year. they only sell Scion part# 08586-52960.

Only way to tell for sure is to try to install it. Sorry I can't be of more help, I never bought the Scion alarm.
