OMG!!!!!11111oneone

I found a sweet secret!!!

If you drive and are in 4th gear and you push the clutch in and go up and over to the right a TAD bit you get an extra gear! It helps with gas mileage a TON!!!!

Default "A" button

What's the "A" button?? Is it marked and I'm just a dummy, or does anyone else not see it? Thanks!

Got a 2006, and it worked. I found the radio manual on the bottom of the glove box sealed in plastic.

THIS WILL NOT WORK WITH ANY 2004 MODELS - FYI IT'S 2005 AND UP. ALSO WILL NOT WORK WITH THE ALPINE HU IN THE XB RS3.0

This worked in my 06 xB - and you can definitely notice the difference in quality or distribution - one or the other. I dont have a snobby ear so i can't tell the difference ;-]

ps - not sure if it's mentioned anywhere on this post or elsewhere, but the default on my xB was set to tC....

The stock SSP switch was forementioned but like yours, my Xb was set to Tc and it made a huge differance to XB or evebn XA

^^^ Yeah dude, I think all of these head units are set to tC. It's cool that we came across it but i feel sorry for the people that have an xB and their audio is set to tC or whatever.

I drove around with mine set to tC for quite some time and, as you said, it definitely makes a different in sound when you switch it to the 'proper' vehicle.

Just traded my 06 tC for an RS3 xB. Whoever buys the tC will be greeted by "moon rocket" everytime they turn on the car until they figure out how to change it. At least I left the manual with it!

Default 2006 xA?

I have a 2006 xA and I'm dying to know if I can make a customized greeting.

I can get it to go to Japanese, What Moves You, and Self ExpresScion, but I really want to make mine say something else.

I read in the earlier replies that you couldn't do it on the 06 xA, but then someone contradicted him and said you could.

What's the dealio?

I really really want to customize my own.
